Parking availability at the University of Georgia is extremely limited and is not guaranteed. Not all permit requests can be fulfilled due to limited availability of parking spaces.
Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to use our comprehensive Campus Transit system and alternative transportation methods to access campus.
First-year students, who are required to live on-campus with few exceptions, are especially encouraged to use the Campus Transit system rather than cars.
To request a permit, please see the information below. Permits can be requested in the spring for the upcoming academic year, and permits are awarded throughout the year based on space availability.
